  1. Hi Sawin

I worked for Head Start for a few years, as an early head start teacher, and I really loved their commitment to assisting families and making sure students were prepared for kindergarten. I also had the opportunity to work closely with my director and was able to learn a lot about administration along with the everyday operations of the facility. I am sure your leadership skills and knowledge will enable you to be a great manager for this program and your staff will appreciate your experience as well. KIT also sounds like a great organization. I like the fact that they offer training videos and other resources that aid in learning more about their mission and what they do. Out of the three positions you posted, is there one that you are most interested in? Good luck with your continued search for a position that will help you prosper in the early childhood field.

    Thanks for sharing, great post!

  3. Sawin,
I chose the same job with NAEYC, having the chance to work with Congress and other Administration officials to help change policies would be a dream. I feel we need more people who are in the ECE field to work with these agencies. I never heard about KIT but I will be checking it out for it's resources. Thanks for sharing.
